Open a Ticket

Send us what happened and where you got stuck. Replies go through the Connect My AI support inbox.

Tickets route to the support inbox. If the local API is unavailable, the hosted site uses Netlify Forms.

Browser Extension

Open the extension popup, sign in, accept terms, choose a permission style, and click Connect Automatically.

Install from the Connect My AI setup page or the download links in your account. If you are unsure which file to use, open a support ticket and we will point you to the right installer.

Desktop Companion

Open the desktop app when you need uploads, downloads, full-page screenshots, persistent profiles, or native approval windows.

If it says already running, use the existing tray icon or open the control window from the tray.

Approvals

Trusted sessions skip routine prompts. Money movement, checkout, payment changes, wallet activity, and financial/trading actions still ask. Other sensitive or irreversible actions may ask depending on your settings and the site.

Human Check Assist

If a website asks for CAPTCHA or a human check, Connect My AI pauses the task, brings you to the tab, zooms in, highlights the likely check area, and waits. You complete the check yourself, then the task resumes after the page clears.

Sign-In Assist

If a site signs you out, Connect My AI pauses, focuses the sign-in area, and lets your browser or password manager help. Passwords are not stored, logged, sent to the server, or shown to the AI.

Financial, payment, and trading sites stay especially cautious. Government, healthcare, and other sensitive sites may require direct manual sign-in or extra approval depending on your settings and the site.

Respect My Tabs

The extension keeps a local snapshot of open tab URLs so browser restart tests can reopen missing pages without storing page contents or passwords.

Use Save current tabs before restart testing, then Restore saved tabs if the browser does not bring everything back. Signed-out sites use Sign-In Assist or your normal password manager.

Phone asks, desktop acts

ChatGPT on a phone or another approved cloud AI can send a request to your signed-in desktop browser. The phone app does not control mobile browser tabs, and the remote AI does not directly control your desktop tabs.

Your desktop extension receives signed browser actions, handles the website locally, and still asks before money, checkout, payment, wallet, trading, or other high-risk work.

Facebook, Instagram, Gmail, and Modern Editors

Some sites use rich text editors that ignore simple text changes. Connect My AI now uses stronger editor typing and verifies the text is visible before it reports success. If the text does not appear, the action fails safely instead of pretending it worked.

Common Questions

Why do I still see approval prompts?

Because some actions should never be quiet. Payments, purchases, checkout, wallet activity, and financial/trading actions still ask. Other sensitive actions may ask based on your settings and the site.

Can Connect My AI solve CAPTCHA?

No. Human-verification checks are meant for the human user. Connect My AI detects them, pauses safely, zooms and highlights the right area, gives you one clear handoff window, and resumes after you finish.

Does Connect My AI store website passwords?

No. Sign-In Assist focuses the login area and works with your browser or password manager. Optional one-time fill goes only into the matching site tab and is not saved or sent to Connect My AI servers.

What if browser testing closes my tabs?

Use Respect My Tabs in the extension popup. It saves tab URLs locally and can reopen missing tabs after a restart. Browser/password-manager sign-in remains separate.

What if Brave or Edge says "Restore pages?"

Click the browser's Restore button. Connect My AI does not bypass browser recovery prompts. After the browser restores what it can, use Respect My Tabs to reopen anything missing.

Can I ask ChatGPT on my phone to use my desktop browser?

Yes, once the remote connector is enabled and your desktop browser is signed in. The phone request lands in Connect My AI, then your desktop extension handles the browser work through the same approval rules as local requests.

How should I install the browser extension?

Use the public setup/download path from Connect My AI, and avoid unofficial extension packages. If the browser asks for extra setup, support can walk you through it.

Does Connect My AI store my website passwords?

No. Your email is your username, and the product uses magic-link style access. Do not put passwords, card numbers, or secrets into support notes.

What should I send support?

Use the diagnostic summary. It includes connection status, app status, and safe setup clues. It does not include page contents.
