These Terms of Service are a business draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch. They are written to allocate responsibility clearly for a browser-control product that connects user-selected AI tools to user-controlled websites, accounts, and browser sessions.

## 1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of Connect My AI, including the website, dashboard, browser extension, desktop companion, APIs, local-agent connection features, subscription services, documentation, and related software.

By creating an account, installing the browser extension or desktop companion, connecting an AI agent, accepting these Terms, starting a subscription, granting permissions, approving an action, or using Connect My AI, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Connect My AI on behalf of a company, family member, client, team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and that you are responsible for that use.

## 2. What Connect My AI Provides

Connect My AI provides a user-controlled connection layer between AI tools and browser or desktop browsing capabilities. Depending on your settings and approvals, connected AI agents may request actions such as reading visible page content, inspecting page state, opening URLs, clicking, typing, submitting forms, triggering downloads, using local browser sessions, and interacting with websites through your browser.

Connect My AI is not the AI agent, not the website being accessed, not the seller of goods or services on third-party websites, not a payment processor, not a broker, not an adviser, and not the decision maker for your browser actions. Connect My AI provides connection, permission, routing, logging, and control tools. You provide the websites, accounts, browser sessions, AI agents, instructions, approvals, and decisions.

## 3. User Responsibility for AI Agents and Browser Actions

You are solely responsible for:

- Selecting, installing, configuring, and trusting any AI agent or local assistant connected to Connect My AI.
- All instructions, prompts, goals, files, data, credentials, websites, accounts, and sessions you provide to any AI agent.
- All permissions, approval modes, trusted sessions, site access, device access, team access, and policies you configure or approve.
- All browser actions requested, approved, denied, skipped, completed, or attempted through your account, extension, desktop companion, AI agent, device, or browser session.
- Reviewing prompts before approval and monitoring the output and behavior of connected AI agents.
- Confirming that each action is lawful, authorized, accurate, appropriate, and compliant with third-party rules before approving it.
- Any consequences of using AI output, including mistakes, misunderstandings, hallucinations, incomplete instructions, unintended clicks, inaccurate text, unwanted posts, account changes, purchases, transactions, uploads, downloads, messages, or submissions.

You agree that an approval, trusted session, policy setting, or connected agent action is your instruction to Connect My AI to route or perform that action. You remain responsible even if the AI agent acted unexpectedly, misunderstood you, made a mistake, or produced incorrect output.

## 4. No Agency, Advice, or Decision-Making Relationship

Connect My AI does not act as your agent, fiduciary, adviser, broker, attorney, accountant, medical provider, financial adviser, employment adviser, insurance adviser, or professional decision maker. Connect My AI does not make independent decisions on your behalf. Any automated or AI-assisted action is performed at your direction, through your connected AI tool, account, browser, device, policies, or approvals.

You must not rely on Connect My AI as professional advice or as a substitute for human review where legal, financial, medical, employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, safety, emergency, or other high-impact interests are involved.

## 5. Permission Modes, Trusted Sessions, and Approval Records

Connect My AI may offer permission styles such as confirming every action, confirming risky actions, trusted sessions, presets, site profiles, team policies, panic stop, and similar controls. These controls are safety and convenience features, not guarantees.

Trusted sessions may reduce repeated prompts for routine or reversible activity. They do not transfer responsibility from you to Connect My AI. You are responsible for enabling, disabling, monitoring, and understanding trusted sessions.

Connect My AI may keep records of permission decisions, including approval or denial, timestamps, source, action type, risk label, target summary, extension or device identifier, and related metadata. These records may be stored locally, in the extension, in the desktop companion app data folder, on the server, and/or in support or audit logs. Permission records are intended for transparency, troubleshooting, security, compliance, and dispute protection. They are not a guarantee that every relevant fact, page state, website response, AI instruction, or user intent was captured.

You agree that permission records, audit logs, action results, browser state, and related metadata may be used to investigate support requests, security issues, abuse, billing disputes, legal claims, or alleged misuse.

## 6. Financial, Commerce, and Irreversible Actions

Connect My AI may prompt before actions that appear to involve final checkout, payment, money transfer, wallet activity, trading, investing, betting, donations, memberships, subscriptions, payment-method changes, account changes, legally significant submissions, or similar irreversible or high-impact actions.

Cart staging, product comparison, adding an item to a cart, saving an item for later, or preparing a draft may be treated differently from final checkout or payment. You are responsible for verifying the state of the website and determining whether an action has legal, financial, account, or irreversible consequences before approval.

You are solely responsible for all purchases, subscriptions, trades, transfers, donations, payments, fees, taxes, shipping charges, renewals, account changes, form submissions, and other transactions or commitments made or attempted through your browser, account, AI agent, extension, desktop companion, or connected device.

## 7. Third-Party Websites, Accounts, and Platform Rules

Connect My AI may interact with third-party websites and services at your direction. We do not control third-party websites, their availability, content, terms, APIs, anti-automation rules, payment flows, account-security practices, ranking systems, moderation decisions, or enforcement actions.

You are responsible for making sure your use of Connect My AI complies with all third-party website terms, platform rules, robots or automation restrictions, account agreements, laws, contracts, workplace policies, and permissions. You are responsible for any account suspension, ban, rate limit, charge, dispute, moderation action, data loss, or third-party claim arising from your use.

## 8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Connect My AI to:

- Violate any law, regulation, contract, website terms, platform rules, or third-party rights.
- Access accounts, systems, data, or websites without authorization.
- Scrape, harvest, collect, or process data where prohibited or without required rights or notices.
- Send spam, phishing messages, fraudulent communications, deceptive content, impersonation, or unlawful marketing.
- Manipulate engagement, reviews, rankings, votes, ads, prices, markets, trading activity, or platform metrics unlawfully or deceptively.
- Bypass paywalls, security controls, rate limits, captchas, anti-abuse systems, access restrictions, or technical protections.
- Upload, generate, distribute, or facilitate malware, exploit code, credential theft, harmful automation, or security abuse.
- Harass, stalk, threaten, dox, impersonate, invade privacy, or target vulnerable persons.
- Make or assist high-impact decisions involving health, finance, legal rights, employment, housing, credit, insurance, education access, public benefits, safety, or emergency services without appropriate human and professional oversight.
- Use Connect My AI in a way that could reasonably harm us, users, third parties, platforms, or the security or integrity of any system.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use creates legal, security, platform, abuse, reputational, or business risk.

## 9. Accounts, Devices, Teams, and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account, magic links, browser sessions, devices, extension credentials, local-agent credentials, desktop companion, team invitations, and connected AI tools.

Actions taken through your account, extension, desktop companion, AI agent, team, or device are your responsibility, whether performed by you, a family member, a team member, a contractor, a local AI agent, or any person or system with access you provided or failed to secure.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account, device, browser session, AI agent, or credentials have been compromised.

## 10. Subscriptions, Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated at checkout. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation.

Material subscription terms, including price, billing frequency, renewal terms, trial or intro terms, and cancellation method, should be presented before checkout. You may cancel according to the cancellation process made available in your account or billing portal.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate written policy.

## 11. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information. By using Connect My AI, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to expose, process, copy, submit, upload, download, transmit, or store any data used with connected AI agents, third-party websites, or browser automation.

Do not intentionally put passwords, payment card numbers, private keys, authentication tokens, or other secrets into support tickets, prompts, workflow recipes, or saved instructions.

If you use Sign-In Assist or one-time credential fill, you remain responsible for the sign-in, account access, and any resulting website activity. Connect My AI does not store website passwords or provide them to AI agents. High-risk sites such as financial, payment, trading, government, healthcare, or similar sites may require direct manual sign-in.

## 12. Beta, Testing, and Experimental Features

Some features may be experimental, beta, preview, testing-only, or under active development. Beta features may change, break, produce unexpected results, lose data, or be discontinued at any time. You use beta and testing features at your own risk.

## 13. Intellectual Property

We own Connect My AI, including the software, designs, documentation, branding, workflows, interfaces, and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Connect My AI for your own lawful purposes.

You retain rights to your own content, instructions, and data. You grant us the rights needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide Connect My AI.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, publish, host, resell, white-label, or provide Connect My AI or any substantially similar connection service to others except as expressly allowed by us in writing.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, adapt, circumvent, remove, disable, tamper with, or create derivative works from Connect My AI, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

You may not bypass, disable, interfere with, or misrepresent account checks, subscription gates, device authorization, signature verification, usage limits, safety prompts, audit logging, update checks, or other product controls.

You may not remove or obscure Connect My AI names, notices, branding, copyright notices, proprietary notices, or security notices from the website, extension, desktop companion, documentation, or related materials.

## 14. Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, requests, reports, or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

## 15. Disclaimers

Connect My AI is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, compatibility, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that Connect My AI will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every AI agent, browser, website, platform, device, operating system, or account, or accepted by any third-party website or platform.

We do not warrant that AI agents will behave correctly, websites will interpret actions correctly, permission prompts will catch every risk, trusted sessions will match your intent, audit records will capture every relevant fact, or automation will avoid mistakes.

## 16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connect My AI and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or lost-profit damages; loss of data; loss of goodwill; business interruption; account suspension; platform enforcement; third-party claims; security incidents; unauthorized browser activity; AI-agent mistakes; user approvals; user instructions; trusted-session behavior; transaction errors; purchases; payments; trades; transfers; posts; messages; uploads; downloads; form submissions; or website/account consequences arising from or related to Connect My AI.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to Connect My AI will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

## 17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Connect My AI and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

- Your use, misuse, configuration, or inability to use Connect My AI.
- Browser actions taken, requested, approved, denied, attempted, or completed through your account, extension, desktop companion, AI agent, device, team, or browser session.
- Your instructions, prompts, data, content, files, workflows, recipes, or approvals.
- Your connected AI agents or other third-party tools.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of law, third-party rights, website terms, platform policies, contracts, or workplace policies.
- Any purchase, payment, transfer, trade, donation, subscription, post, message, upload, download, submission, account change, or transaction made or attempted through your use.
- Any dispute between you and a third-party website, platform, seller, buyer, payment provider, AI provider, team member, family member, client, employer, or other user.

We may control the defense of any claim at your expense where permitted by law. You may not settle any claim in a way that imposes obligations on us without our written consent.

## 18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Connect My AI if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay fees, misused the product, or used it in a way that could harm us, users, third parties, platforms, or systems.

You may stop using Connect My AI at any time. Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically delete local software, browser extensions, AI tools, permission records, or data stored on your devices.

## 19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or require renewed acceptance. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

## 20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state and country where the company operating Connect My AI is formed, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Before launch, replace this section with counsel-approved venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, small-claims procedure, consumer-rights language, and any state-specific terms appropriate for your company and customers.
